At The Nettle, chef-owner Iain Graham crafts thoughtfully prepared dishes that celebrate the region’s rich agricultural heritage. His evolving menu showcases seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients while maintaining an unwavering commitment to sustainability throughout every aspect of the restaurant.
With over 20 years in prestigious kitchens, Graham’s culinary journey includes notable positions at London’s Caravan Restaurant, the acclaimed Caprice Group, and most recently, the Michelin-starred Gilpin in the Lake District. He has been trained by chefs such as Mark Hix, Tim Hughes, Peter Gordon, Miles Kirby, Jamie Oliver, Jack Bond, Ollie Bridgewater and more. This wealth of experience informs his refined yet accessible approach at The Nettle.
His expertise as a food stylist shines through in every meticulously plated dish, ensuring each creation is as visually stunning as it is delicious. Having produced campaigns for the likes of Waitrose, Bombay Sapphire, Innocent, Moet Hennessy, M&S and others. He even has his own cookbook..
